I bought this enclosure to recover data from a laptop. Installation is easy. The interface adapter from the old laptop hard drive has to be removed before connecting to the circuit board. I was able to copy the data from the hard drive once the enclosure was plugged in. There was no attempt to mount the hard drive on the enclosure with the two small screws. Will this enclosure last? I have no idea and it doesn't matter. All I know is that I paid $7.80 for this enclosure and it worked well enough to recover data from a dead laptop. The product gets a five star rating for a data recovery job accomplished.

This product is great. i bought it for use with my ps3 and it worked fine. Just format the drive you have to fat32 and the Ps3 will pick it right up. It also workes with windows 7

I bought this enclosure to hold an 80GB HDD taken out of a laptop. The 2.5" drive slipped into the case without issue and it works fine. The USB port is a little off center so I have to wiggle the plug to get it in but it's not really an issue and has no effect on the operation of the drive. The seller gave great service and fast shipping. I am ordering another one for another drive I have.

I bought several of these to upgrade laptops. They work well. No complaints, drives fit perfectly. Seller sent them in a timely manner, can't ask for more for the price.

This USB External Case arrived as advertised by the vendor.
I am using case as a back-up drive and portable storage device for
photos and some videos. The packaging was very good,the quality is
excellent and ease of use is effortless. Installing a hard drive in
the enclosure is very easy and with the enclosed cable,the device
is ultra-convenient. I am very satisfied with the product,vendor
delivery time. I am using a 320 GB Lap Top Hard Drive with this case.
I would recommend this product to others.
